Obedience Training
Village Dogworks Obedience Classes - Begins September 10th, 2008

Village DogWorks Obedience & Behavioral Training will be back to teach two levels of obedience courses in Tompkins Square starting Wednesday night, September 10th. All courses run for 6 weeks and meet every Wednesday night in Tompkins Square (under the Krishna Tree in the center of the park.)

Basic Obedience meets at 7 p.m. ($150). Intermediate Obedience meets at 8 p.m. ($150.) You must register for these classes in advance at Petopia, 29 Avenue A. For complete course outline, please visit Village Dogworks

Friends of First Run Present
The 18th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade
Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Noon

Dress up the dogs. The frightening fun and screams begin at noon. This year we have thousands of dollars in prizes, including 6 iPOD MP3 PLAYERS for the winners and runner ups at the country's largest Halloween dog costume parade. We'll be awarding prizes at the end of each round. The first round of judging begins at Noon. Late sleepers who want to enter the fourth and final round should plan to arrive no later then 2:00.

Free GIFT BAGS for the first dogs to arrive.
